Beverly Jean Givan

September 28, 1958 — November 18, 2022

Beverly Jean “BeBee” Givan was born at home on September 28, 1958 in Conway, Arkansas to Frank and Nita Givan. Beverly had a long and hard battle with diabetes and renal failure. She was so strong, and had been on dialysis for 20 years. She said she was beyond tired and ready to go home to be with her Father God. She went into home hospice on November 12, 2022. She gained her wings, and went to glory on Friday, November 18, 2022 at 4:45am in Foley, Alabama at the age of 64 years old surrounded by her love ones.

Beverly went to Conway Senior High where she graduated with her diploma. She then went to the University of Central Arkansas for a few years, and then transferred to Pulaski Technical School. She was also an employee at Dave Ward Bus Company until she moved to Kansas City, MO. Beverly was always a caring and loving woman of God. It showed in everything she did, including her work. She was a CNA for over 20 years at both St. Luke’s Hospital and Shawnee Mission Medical Center and was also an amazing beautician. She then decided to change her profession and became a truck driver at the end of 1998. She loved driving 18 wheelers and traveling, and did so until she became ill in 2002.

Beverly was an amazing God fearing woman who loved her children and grandchildren. She loved her family dearly, and her children were the light of her life. She was always taking in other children (nieces, nephews, and friends) as well. Her heart was so big that she opened her home and kitchen to all. She loved to cook, (and she could cook her butt off) and fed all that she came into contact with. Beverly is survived by her four daughters; Ebony ‘Eb” Williams, Andrea “Aya” Sanders (Derek), Dawn “Dawny” Williams, and Cierra “CeeCee” Williams. Her granddaughters; Rae’ona Williams, Jadyn Blacklock, Jiah Blacklock, and Aaliyah Walker. Her mother Nita Scranton, and her silblings; Linda Jackson, William Jerome Givan, Mark Anthony Givan (Debra), Frank Givan Jr, Olivia Givan, and Robert Givan (Chandra). A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
