- Billy Wayne Early, age 86, passed away peacefully at his home on July 27, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.
- Born on January 3, 1940 in Samson, AL, and resided in Elsanor, AL. Billy was the son of the late Joseph and Irene Early. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Maxine Early, and his brother, Steve Early.
- Billy is survived by his loving children, Cindy Brill, Christy Ellison, and Scott Early; his sisters, Lindy Early, Mary Jo Conley, and Meriam Weiss; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense pride and joy.
- Billy was a hardworking man who built and operated a sawmill and was known for his incredible craftsmanship. He was well known in the fishing community for the cast nets he made. He found great happiness in the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting.
- Above all, Billy was a devoted family man. He was the greatest grandfather, always offering love, wisdom, and unwavering support to his family. His legacy will live on through the many lives he touched and the memories he created with those he loved.
- Billy was also a faithful and devoted member of the Church of Christ. His strong faith guided his life and was evident in the kindness, humility, and generosity he showed to everyone he met.
- Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. with funeral services following at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 31, 2026, at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope.
- Billy Wayne Early will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in the memories he leaves behind and in the faith that he is now at peace.
