Bradley "Brad" James Nelson

Brad Nelson, age 54, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on September 28, 2025. 

Before making Daphne, Alabama his home, Brad was a longtime resident of Savannah, Georgia, where he built many lasting friendships and memories.

Brad was born on April 18, 1971, in Bangkok, Thailand, to Larry and Shelia Nelson.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Coleman Nelson II, and his mother, Shelia Nelson.

Brad is survived by his father, Larry Coleman Nelson, Sr. of Crestview, Florida; his sister, Niecee Nelson of Mobile, Alabama; along with several nieces and nephews who adored their “Baboo.”

Funeral services will be held at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, 27409 U.S. Highway 98 in Daphne, Alabama, on Friday, October 3, 2025. 

Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 12:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation in Brad’s honor.
