Brandi Nix Fulford (51) of Fairhope, Alabama, March 12, 1975 - October 18, 2026.
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Brandi Fulford. She grew up in Nashville, Georgia, attended middle school in Birmingham, Alabama, completed the first part of high school in San Antonio, Texas, and graduated from high school in Tyler, Texas — where she was a proud member of the White House First Lady dance team. From the University of South Alabama, she earned her B.A. in Marketing and Graphic Design as well as deep friendships from her beloved community in Kappa Delta Sorority.
She moved to Fairhope after graduation and joined the Order of Mystic Magnolias in 2004 alongside her mother and many, many friends. While she served on the board for many years, she guaranteed her 2013-2014 year presidency was filled with dancing and joy through the chosen theme "Shindigs and Shenanigans." Her love of celebrating Mardi Gras was felt across the other holidays as well, and she embodied a "go-big-or-go-home" attitude for planning events, decorating the house, and including as many people as possible in the party. This love of community, planning, and being everyone's life coach inspired her to change her career and become a realtor at Coldwell Banking Reehl Properties later in life. She earned many accolades over the last 8 years, but making her clients and team feel like family is what motivated her every single day. No matter the role she was in or who was present, she could light up the room with her smile, positivity, and carefully planned decorations.
True to her love of holidays, she married David Fulford of Fairhope on March 17th, 2001. She also leaves her daughters Abbeyglen Fulford and Waverley Fulford, her parents Randy Nix and Von Nix, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her brother Judd Nix.
Brandi will be remembered at a service to honor her on Saturday, November 7, 2026, in the chapel of Wolf-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. Visitation will be at 10:00am and a memorial service will be at 11:00am. The family has requested donations be made to UAB Division of Hematology and Oncology at https://www.uab.edu/medicine/hemonc/give/ways-to-give (for Leukemia AML and Brandi being a breast cancer survivor) and blood donations be made to American Red Cross https://www.redcrossblood.org.
