Carol Buchanan

Carol Buchanan, age 70, a resident of Foley, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2023. 

She was raised in Marinette, WI and moved to the Mobile and Baldwin County areas where she worked in the childcare field.  Carol loved working in her yard and singing in the choir at Foley United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thelma and Lance Derusha.

She is survived by her, daughters, Meghan (Jonathan) Hudson, Foley, AL, Kaylee Buchanan, Foley, AL; sister, Linda DeWester, Houston, TX; grandchildren, Blaine, Brayden, Brooke, Peyton and Emma; 2 nieces and their families; many other loving relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Carol’s Life will be held at a later date.
