Catherine "Katie" R. Birk

Catherine “Katie” Rose Birk, 91, passed away peacefully in her home in Gulf Shores, Alabama on January 27, 2021. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Lee Birk. She is survived by 3 children, Tom Birk, Mike Birk (Kathy), Patti Powers (Ed). She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Tim Powers (Margaret), Jennifer Hart (Taylor), Chris Birk and Nick Birk (Katie). She was blessed with 4 great-grandchildren, Ryan and Lucky Birk, Rory and Ellis Hart. A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church, arrangements pending. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made in Katie’s honor to the Altar Rosary Society of Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church, 308 East 22nd Avenue, Gulf Shores, Alabama 36542, 251-968-7062.
