Cathy Collins
Cathy Collins, a beloved member of the Magnolia Springs community, passed away on April 28, 2024, in Foley, Alabama. She was known for her dedication to her career at Woerner Turf.
Born in Foley, Alabama, Cathy was a proud graduate of Foley High School. Her passion for hosting and cooking for family gatherings brought joy to all who knew her. Cathy's genuine kindness and caring nature were evident.
She is survived by her loving family, including her daughter Stephanie Taylor-Reese (Matt Gomez), sons Eddie Paul and Mack Paul, granddaughter, Payton Reese, sister Felicia Norris (Tommy), brothers Mike Collins (Bridgette), Clayton Collins (Nikki), and her fiancé, Doug Frank. Cathy also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, along with many other relatives and friends.
Cathy was preceded in death by her father Eddie Collins, mother Elaine LaCoste Collins, and step-father Dwight Miller.
A Funeral Service to honor and remember Cathy's life will be held on May 4, 2024, at Foley Chapel in Foley, AL. The service will begin at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Magnolia Springs, AL.
Cathy's legacy of love and compassion will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who crossed paths with this remarkable woman.
