Charles Lloyd “Sonny” Rhoades, Jr. age 66 a resident of Jay, FL passed away Saturday, February 22, 2025.

Sonny was a loving son, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother who will be missed by all who knew him. He served proudly in the United States Army, and he was a factory worker in the automotive industry.

He is survived by his mother, Anna (Ron) Rhoades of TN; Loving wife, Sonya Kay Yoder of Jay, FL; daughters, Shonaka (Bryan) Hunter of Fairland, IN, Crittney Latante of Springfield, MO; sons, Christopher L. Rhoades of Indianapolis, IN, Matthew (Brittiani) Latante of SC, Shane (Erica) Rhoades of Columbus, IN; brothers, Timothy Rhoades of Edinburg, IN, Gary (Rita)Rhoades of Columbus, IN, Dale Rhoades of Avon, IN, Jeffrey (Gayle) Rhoades of Palmetto, FL; sisters, Connie (Martin) Barnett of Jay, FL, Diana (Shelly) Boggs of Lafayette, IN, Carla (Jeff) Meyer of Greenwood, IN; fourteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of “Sonny’s” Life will be held at the First Baptist Church, Lillian, AL, Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at 11:00am.
