Christopher "Chris" Sawyer

SAWYER FOLEY, AL. Christopher Allen “Chris” Sawyer, Age 37, born in Georgia and a resident of Foley, Alabama passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023. Chris is preceded in death by his father, Richard Scott Sawyer. Survivors include his children, Taylor and Brayden Sawyer of Elberta, AL; mother, Robin Sikes of Foley, AL; two sisters, Amber Williamson of Foley, AL and Brittany Polk of Foley, AL; two brothers, Rusty Pruitt of Buford, GA and Nicholas Williamson of Foley, AL; mother of his children, Nicole Helms of Elberta, AL; cousins, aunts, uncles other relatives and friends. Chris was passionate about the arts. He expressed himself through his music and his drawings. He was also a very loving and caring person. His family describes Chris as empathetic and would take care of the underdog. A Celebration of Chris’s life will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at 3:00pm at the chapel of Wolfe Bayview Funeral Home, Foley. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2:00pm until time of the service.
