Christopher “Chris” Kozon, was born on April 6, 1980, in Hazelcrest, Illinois. He departed this world unexpectedly on September 20, 2025, in Daphne, Alabama, leaving behind a legacy of love, compassion, and cherished memories.
Chris was a devoted family man, proud of his role as a husband and father. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Kylee (Blair) Kozon, whose bond with Chris was an inspiring testament to their enduring love. Together, they nurtured their beloved children, MaKenna and Emmett, who were the light of Chris's life. He is also mourned by his loving parents, Joseph and Patricia (Murphy) Kozon, who instilled in him the values of kindness and hard work.
In addition to his immediate family, Chris will be dearly missed by his in-laws, Steve and Kathy (Phillips) Blair of Muncie, Indiana, as well as his brother-in-law Jeremy (Jennifer) Blair, also of Muncie. As a loving uncle to Ronnie Joe "Joe" Blair, he held a special place in the hearts of those around him. Chris was deeply loved by many—aunts, uncles, and cousins who admired his warmth and vibrant spirit. His devoted companion, “Puppy Ronin,” was always by his side, adding joy to his days.
A member of the community and a dedicated professional, Chris worked as a District Retail Manager for Polaris Inc. in the Gulf Coast. His career path was marked by significant roles, including his time as a consultant for MSX International and as a valued employee at Advanced Auto Parts. Throughout his career, he met each challenge with determination and a fierce dedication to his work.
Chris attended Ball State University, where he pursued Special Education and Teaching. His love for family was unmatched, and this commitment shone brightly in his interactions with everyone he encountered.

He was preceded in death by his angel daughter Kinley, his angel brother Joseph, and his loving grandparents—Joseph and Geraldine Kozon, Robert and Elizabeth Murphy, as well as his Uncle Michael Kozon. Each of these cherished individuals left an indelible mark on Chris’s life.
We treasure his life lived with passion, dedication, and an unwavering love for family. He will be remembered for his generous spirit, infectious laughter, a heart of love, arms that gave the best bear hugs and the countless moments of joy he brought to those fortunate enough to know him.
