Claurel "Pete" Kendall Tousley

Claurel ( Pete ) Kendall Tousley, age 80, a resident of Orange Beach, Alabama, passed away Monday August 3,2026. Visitation will be Saturday August 15, 2026, from 10:30 to 11:00 AM with memorial services immediately following visitation at Robertsdale Church of Christ in Robertsdale AL. Family is requesting that in lieu of flowers donations be made to St. Jude Children Hospital in his honor at, www.stjude.org

Pete retired from Goodrich Aerospace in 2013, he spent his remaining years working part time with Brett Robertson, enjoying his time with Peggy his wife of 49 years, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family. Pete enjoyed and was very  good at hunting deer and turkey for many years becoming known among his children and other hunters as ONE SHOT PETE, chartering off shore fishing trip aboard the Jamie G at least once a year during his retirement as he would say "to fully enjoy Gods creation and catch as many as he could in six hours time."

Pete was born on November 11,1945 at Logansport State Hospital in Logansport Indiana to Lewis and Ovel Tousley. Pete served two years in the United States Army of which he served thirteen months over seas during the Vietnam war. Pete was honorably discharged November 16, 1971, decorated with National Defense Service Metal, Visisht Seva Medal, Vietnam Campaign Metal, M-14 Marksmanship Qualification Badge, Pete is survived by his sister Rosalie Duff, son Matthew Tousley ( Dawn ),daughter Dianne Tousley ( Amber ), step son Shane Lamar, Brian Lamar ( Angel ), grandchildren, Patrick Tousley, Garrett Cullen, Joseph Lamar, Kayal Lamar, Haley Gray ( Eric ) Nathan Bearden (Casey), Colton Lamar (Madison). Great grandchildren, Kenley, Layla, Bennett,  Chareigh-Rae, Rhett, Hunter, Jocelyn, Sadie Jane

Pete was preceded in death by his father Lewis Lorenzo Tousley, Oval Jean Tousley, brother Dallas Tousley
