Curtis Martin Nelson, a resident of Elberta, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2023. He was an avid motorcyclist and short-wave radio operator. He loved to help others operate and setup equipment for short-wave radios. Curtis was preceded in death by his father, Charles Nelson and Stepfather, Robert Weidhas. He is survived by his mother, Delores Weidhas of Elberta, Alabama; sister, Charmine Nelson of Wisconsin; and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held in the Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Elberta, Alabama, on Monday, August 14, 2023, at 4:00 p.m.
