Dara Richards

Dara Richards, Age 73, a native of Bessemer, AL., and a resident of Orange Beach, AL., passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2023 at a local hospital. Dara was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, retired school teacher and a member of Gulf Shores Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by a sister, Dana Goodwin and her parents, Thomas and Juanita Ezekiel. Survivors include her husband, James V. “Buddy” Richards, Jr., of Orange Beach, AL., one daughter, Brandi ( John) Hartfield of Carriere, MS; two grandchildren, Trent (Maggie) Fields and Bryleigh Fields; other relatives including a niece, Lesley White and many other beloved family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all. A Celebration of Dara’s life will be held at First Baptist Church of Gulf Shores, AL, on March 16, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service.
