Daryl Wayne Berry Sr., 71, a resident of Foley, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2024.
Daryl was a carpenter by trade and loved to build and create things anytime he could. He used those carpentry skills to build the house his kids grew up in, and he later built Charlene’s dream home next to her parent’s house just like she wanted. He was an avid Alabama football fan and never missed a game. Daryl also loved to bowl, fish, and travel in his spare time. He was heavily involved in his children’s sports and extracurricular activities that included coaching baseball and football. Daryl was the leader of the Royal Rangers ministry through Orchard Assembly of God throughout his children’s childhood. He immensely enjoyed watching everything his grandchildren were involved in.
Preceding him in death are his sister, Linda (Bear) Hensley; brother, Tony Berry and his mother, Clara Mae Bauer
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Charlene Berry of Foley, AL; two sons, Wayne (Christina) Berry of Spanish Fort, AL, and James (Jennifer) Berry of Little Falls, MN; six grandchildren, Jacob, Logan, Kyla, Matthew, Sarah, and Kevin James, along with many other loving relatives and friends.
