David Lee Gordon, lovingly known as “Daddy Cool,” passed away on October 14, 2026, in Foley, Alabama. He was 62. He was born on March 3, 1964, in Eastman, Georgia.

Those who knew him and the family who held an important place in his life will remember David with love. He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Williams, and her children; his sister, Charlene Clarida; and his brothers, Rodney (Katrina) Jordan and Stephen Dailey, who were part of the close family circle that will cherish David’s memory and the moments they shared with him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Josephine Dailey, whose memory remains part of his family’s story.

David’s passing leaves sorrow, but also remembrance of a life that touched others in meaningful ways. May his family and friends find comfort in the love they shared with him and in the memories that will continue to live on.

The family will receive friends at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Daphne Chapel, Saturday, October 17th, 2026, from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm.
