David Daniel McCombs 82, passed away on February 6, 2026 in Orange Beach, Alabama. He was the husband of Shirley Mooney McCombs.
Born in Birmingham, Alabama, he graduated from Auburn University. He retired from Ciba-Geigy, McIntosh Plant where he was a supervisor.
David enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, and watching Auburn football.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley McCombs, sister, Mary Ann Weber (Richard), niece, Amy Jones (Chad), niece Anne Rose, and nephew, Bob Rose. Also, by two great nieces.
A memorial service will be planned at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations maybe made to the charity of your choice.
