Debra Maria Elizabeth York, 69, a resident of Elberta, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2025.
Debra was an LPN and loved that she had a rewarding career helping others. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Horace York of Elberta, AL.
She is survived by her daughters, Kelly York of Elberta, AL, and Angela Mercier of Century, FL; her grandchildren, Kelsey York, Cordell York, Aidan Mercier, and Amelia Scheffing; great-grandchildren, Kelynn York, Kayson Williams, Noah Mercier, and Kameila Wilson; sister and brother-in-law, Gary and Charlene Shaw of Murfreesboro, TN; nieces, Debbie Shaw Plattsmier and Billie Shaw. Along with many other loving relatives and friends.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
