Dennis Leonard Kaiser

Dennis Leonard Kaiser, age 76, a resident of Perdido Beach, Alabama, passed away on May 17, 2024.  

Dennis enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and going to Alabama football games. He loved to fish and spend time on the water whenever he could. Once in a while, he would try to play golf.  Dennis was a graduate of Foley High School and developed a love for the telecommunications industry. He spent most of his distinguished career at Gulf Telephone Company, where he served in many positions, eventually becoming the Vice President of Engineering and Construction. He served several years as CEO of Digiph PCS, which was sold to Voicestream. Dennis worked the last 15 years as a consultant/communication technician at Hayneville Telephone Company. He built lifelong relationships and friends at these places and will be remembered for his humor, lighthearted jokes, and contagious laughter.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Michael and Helen Kaiser; his wife and true love of his life, Elizabeth Dorothy Kaiser; and his grandson, Joseph Rudolph Kaiser. 

Dennis is survived by his sons, Christopher (Angie) Kaiser and Vincent (Erin) Kaiser; grandchildren, Emily (Dylan) Byrd, John Kaiser, Josh Kaiser, Heidi Kaiser, and Holly Kaiser; great-grandchildren, Derrick and Delaney Byrd; brothers, Mickey (Nita) Kaiser and Kenny (Marie) Kaiser, Sr.; and many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at St Bartholomew Catholic Church in Elberta, Alabama, on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at 10:00 am.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Interment will follow in Prince of Peace Catholic Cemetery in Elberta, AL.

There will be a celebration of Life following the interment at the St. Bartholomew Parrish Hall.
