Diane Warren Hartley

Diane W. Hartley, 78, of Fairhope, (previously Jackson, AL) passed away peacefully on April 22, 2022, in Mobile, AL, surrounded by her family.

She was born February 22, 1944, in Jackson, AL to the late Dr. Palmer H. and Willie ("Billie") A. (Mills) Warren. 

Diane married J. Perry Hartley more than 58 years ago on June 22, 1963.

Diane loved her family, socializing, fishing, dancing, hanging out by the water, animals, gardening, and spoiling her beloved dog, Gino. She worked for many years in retail and as a homemaker. She was an adoring mother and grandmother, and an avid sports fan, especially when it came to Alabama football. 

Diane is survived by her husband, Perry Hartley of Fairhope (previously Jackson, AL); two sons, Greg (René de la Huerta) Hartley of Miami, FL, and Scott (Keena) Hartley of Roswell, GA; a grandchild, Hayes Hartley, also of Roswell, GA; siblings Palmer H. Warren, Jr. of Paducah, KY, and Joann Savage Williams of Jackson, AL; and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial and celebration of life was held at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Fairhope, AL on April 24, 2022. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Jacob’s Ladder, a non-profit special needs school and therapy center in Roswell, GA.
