Dianna Sue Levesque

d. April 8, 2022

Dianna Sue Levesque, 69, passed away peacefully with her husband at her side on April 8, 2022 in Fairhope, AL, after a courageous and long battle with cancer. Dianna was passionate, loving, kind, and sensitive, and she will be terribly missed by all who knew her. Born April 17, 1952, in Whittier, CA, Dianna was the daughter of Nick Brooks and Davy Sue Sherrill. She spent her early childhood living in California before moving with her family to the Fort Worth, TX area. It was in Texas where she spent the majority of her life. She married Michael Levesque on December 15, 2007 and celebrated over 14 years of a loving marriage. After visiting the Gulf Coast, she was drawn to a slower lifestyle and her love of the beach, so in 2010 they moved to Fairhope, AL. Most of Dianna’s career was spent in property management in California and Texas, working in both retirement communities and apartment complexes. She loved meeting new residents and planning community activities. During holidays, she made sure each of the children on her property received a present or treat. She liked to travel and visit new places, but Panama City, FL, and Oahu, HI were two of her favorites. A homebody at heart, she loved working in the yard, tending to her flower beds, and sitting on the patio watching the birds and squirrels in her backyard. She loved to spend time with her treasured family, and especially enjoyed the annual family reunions held in Jean, TX. She leaves behind her husband, Michael Levesque, Fairhope, AL, sons Dwight Griffith, White Settlement, TX, Jimmy Griffith, Weatherford, TX, brothers Marvin (Ann) Brooks, Mansfield, TX, Larry (Mary Ellen) Brooks, Aledo, TX, seven grandchildren (plus one bonus), three great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. Dianna was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Triva Renee Griffith. A family celebration of life will be held a future date in Texas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Mitchell Cancer Institute, Kilborn Clinic, in Fairhope, AL. ARRANGEMENTS BY WOLFE-BAYVIEW FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATORY, INC. 19698 GREENO RD.
