Dick Sims Smith

Dick Sims Smith, a resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away on May 4, 2025, at the age of 91.

He was born in Malden, MO to the late Earl and Mabel Smith.

Dick was a United States Navy veteran. He taught school at Francis Howell High School in St. Charles, MO for 30 plus years.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Joe Smith of Washington, MO.

His survivors include his three children, Cynthia Smith of St. Louis, MO, Denise (William) Karris of Niles, MI and Dick (Tatyana) Smith of Wentzville, MO; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.

A memorial service to celebrate Dick’s life will be held at a later date.
