Donald "DJ" Johnson, Sr.

Donald Ray “DJ” Johnson, Sr., 71, a resident of Bay Minette passed away on Sunday. October 10, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Coy and Priscilla Johnson; son, William Anthony Johnson; twin sister, Norma Fay Johnson and sister, Elma Thompson.

DJ is survived by his wife of 15 years, Cathy Johnson; children Donald Johnson, Jr. (Melanie) and Coy Johnson; grandchildren, Bryant, Kendrick, Trevor, Dillon, and Cade; brother, Larry Wise, Sr. (Deborah); sister, Prudence Brown; nephews, Larry Wise, Jr., Gary Wise (Tina), Terry Wise (Kasey); niece, Missy Wise; many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at the Daphne chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes. The family invites friends to visit one hour prior to the service.

Interment to follow at Johnson Cemetery in Whitehouse Fork.
