Donald Leon Milburn passed away on June 19th, 2026, after leading a life of devotion and love. Donald was born to Lendell and Norma Milburn.
In his early life, Donald went to Marion High school and enjoyed playing in the band as a trumpet and singing in the choir. He later graduated at John A. Logan College. In the military, he was proud to be part of the flight refueling team and he was honored to perform military honors to those who had passed away.
His devotion to helping fellow military personal extended into his career, where he helped veterans submit paperwork to get their benefits at the VA Hospital in Marion, Illinois. After he retired, he continued to help veterans by taking them to doctors appointments, get their prescriptions, and going grocery shopping.
People describe Donald has a good worker, a fun person to be around, mischievous, and loving person. The one achievement that he was most proud of was his two son's and their great success. Both are godly men because they followed his guiding light.
Donald Milburn is preceded in death by his father, Lendell Milburn, his mother Norma Milburn; his sister Linda Kay Milburn and sister-in-law Sherri Milburn; grandparents Isaphenas and Celenna Jobe and Lydia and Otis Milburn.
Donald is survived by two sons, Clint Milburn (Courtney) of Burns, TN, Chad Milburn (Sasha) of Marion, IL, two brothers, Jerry Milburn of Marion, IL, David Milburn of Crab Orchard, IL; one sister Nancy Clements (Lance) of Summerdale, AL, four grandchild, Mayli Milburn, Emersyn Milburn, Caiden Milburn and Olivia Milburn and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on July 25th, 2026 at 10:00am at Jubilee Memorial Gardens.
