Edward Thomas Houts

HOUTS GULF SHORES, AL Edward Thomas Houts, age 82, a resident of Gulf Shores, AL passed away Thursday, June 22, 2023. Edward was a finance officer and commander for 12 years in the U.S. Coast Guard auxillary. He was a Deacon at Oyster Bay Baptist Church, Artillery Officer in the U.S. Army, and worked for Georgia Power for 29 years. He is survived by his wife Lynn Houts of Gulf Shores, AL; sons, David Paul (Fiorella) Houts of Auroa, CO, Gregory Alan Houts of South Carolina; six grandchildren, Hannah, Marie, John, Luis and Gianna, and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from Oyster Bay Baptist Church, Monday, June 26, 2023, at 2:00pm. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time Interment will be held at Oyster Bay Baptist Church Cemetery.
