Flora "Flo" Trott Nelson

Flora Jane Trott Nelson, age 92, of Fairhope, AL, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2023. She was born in Maplesville, AL on September 23, 1930. At the young age, she moved to Baldwin County to Belforest so her parents could work at the Shipyard during WWII. She married W.J. Nelson in 1953 and together they raised 10 children. She worked beside him until he passed. She was good to everyone and loved her family. She loved her Church and her God. She was a loving Mother and Grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Nelson, Sr.; her parents, Sam and Birdie Mae Trott; brothers, Sam Trott and Jack Trott; sons, William Nelson, Jr., Jerry Nelson, John Nelson, Olen Nelson, and daughters, Faye Jackson and Wanda Nelson. She leaves behind her daughter, Maxine Ezell of Spanish Fort, Judy Brock (Brownie) of Spanish Fort, and Marianne Blackwood (Jeff) of Lufkin, TX; son, Charlie Nelson (Sharon) of Bay Town, TX, 23 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, 17 great, great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
