Flossie James Callaway

Flossie James Callaway, a resident of Foley, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at the age of 95. She was born in Wallbash, Indiana, in 1929.

She was a hard worker and faith oriented. She was an unswerving church member of Fisherman Baptist Church, Ronald McDonald House and distributed bibles throughout Mobile.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Minnie Young; her husbands, Robert D. James and Joseph Callaway.

Flossie is survived by her children, Robby (June) James, Larry (Carol) James, Randy (Mitzie) James, and Karen (Mark) Pumphrey; grandchildren, Dana (Mark) Walker, David (Carson) James, Greg (Stephanie) James, Bret (Allison) James, Mallory (Jeremy) Thorsen, Hunter (Samantha) James, and Megan Skinner; numerous other relatives and friends.

 Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 12:00pm in the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Foley, Alabama. Visitation will begin at 11:00am.

 Interment will follow funeral services at Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery in Foley, AL.
