Frances Foster, a loving matriarch and devoted wife, left this world on February 24, 2026, in Silverhill, Alabama, at the age of 78. Born on August 20, 1947, in New Brunswick, New Jersey, Frances's vibrant spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.
Frances, originally known by her maiden name Hryniewicz, was an incredibly strong, creative, and loving individual. Her devotion to her family was evident in everything she did. As a grandmother, she created a nurturing environment filled with love, where her grandchildren felt cherished and special. She had a unique gift for making the holidays magical, ensuring that those moments were memorable for her family and filling their hearts with joy.
Her creative passions were as diverse as her talents; she delighted in crafting, sewing, reading, gardening and cooking her famous Polish food. Frances infused beauty into the lives of others not just through her hobbies but through her warm presence and unwavering support.
She is survived by her loving children: Bruce & Shelley Yanish, Michael Yanish & Gabby Sian, Christine & Jarvis Mitchell, and Jennifer & Dustin Smith. Frances's legacy lives on in the hearts of her grandchildren: Justin Yanish, Jacob Yanish, Skylar Yanish, Lance Kidd, Caylen Kidd, Caragan Kidd, Landon Mitchell, Foster Smith, Georgia Smith, and Averyana Smith, along with several great-grandchildren, who will carry her spirit forward.
Though Frances is now reunited with her beloved husband, Robert Foster, her memory will continue to be a guiding light for her family. The love she shared and the memories they forged together will forever resonate in their hearts. Frances Foster was a remarkable woman whose strength and kindness will be deeply missed, yet fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
