Francis S. Carroll

Mr. Francis S. Carroll, a resident of Daphne, Alabama, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, December 31, 2025,at the age of 85.

He was born in New York to the late Francis and Alexandra Carroll.

He was a former resident of Queens, NY. He was an Army veteran and an avid Yankees fan. Mr. Carroll was very devoted to the Baldwin County Honor Guard. He was a woodworker, particularly furniture. Most of all he was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

Mr. Carroll is survived by his wife of 61 years, Antoinette Carroll; son, Francis A. Carroll, both of Daphne; daughter, Dianne Murphy (Michael) of Canandaigua, NY; grandchildren, Larissa Murphy, Francis Michael Carroll, Gabrielle Murphy, Nathan Carroll and Lucas Carroll; brothers, sisters, and many other relatives and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at 11:00am.

He will be laid to rest at the Alabama State Veteran’s Cemetery in Spanish Fort, Alabama, on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at 1:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, in Mr. Carroll’s memory, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
