Fred Leo Nolte, Sr.

Fred Leo Nolte, Sr, a lifelong resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2024, at the age of 90.

 He was a farmer and a shrimper by trade his entire life. In his past time, he enjoyed traveling, fishing, hunting and cruising with his beautiful family.  He always loved spending time with his family doing whatever as long as they were all together.  

 He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Katherine Davis Nolte; his daughter, Brenda Lee Nolte; parents, John Nolte and Georgia McKenzie Nolte; his son-in-law, Joe Berga; three brothers, Henry Nolte, George Nolte, and Ruben Nolte.

 He is survived by his children, Debbie Hall (Martin Garelick), Melinda Berga, Fred Nolte, Jr (Donnie Castleberry), Lisa Hodges and Denise (Leonel) Hurtado; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; siblings, and many other loving relatives and friends.

 Visitation will be held at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, from 9:00 until 10:00am, with funeral services following at 10:00am.

 Graveside service and interment will be held at Brook-Cedron Cemetery following the service.
