Freddie "Fred" Morgan Manning Jr.

Freddie “Fred” Morgan Manning Jr. a resident of Elberta, AL, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2024, at the age of 82.

Fred was a business owner in Montgomery, AL for over 50 years. He was a veteran of the Alabama National Guard. He loved his boat and gulf fishing. His other hobbies were grilling and having fish fries. As the son of a farmer he also loved farming and life in the country.

He was preceded in death by his father Freddie M Manning and his mother Corinne Gardner Manning. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Barbara “Toni” Manning of Elberta, AL.; daughter, Barbara Faulkner (Rick) of Elberta, AL.; son, Rick Manning (Rebecca) of Orange Beach, AL; grandchildren, Jacob, Alex, Reid, Bobby, Randy, Ricky, Roger, several great grandchildren and numerous friends.

A private service to celebrate Fred’s life will be held at a later date.
