Geoffrey Otto Milton

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend

July 18, 1966 - November 30, 2025

Geoffrey Otto Milton, 59, a compassionate soul and loving family man, passed away surrounded by loved ones. Born in Birmingham, Alabama, Geoffrey graduated from Apopka High School in Apopka, Florida, and made Baldwin County his home in 1986, most recently residing in Loxley, Alabama.

Geoffrey’s life was defined by his deep love for his family and his unwavering kindness toward others. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frieda Joyce Milton and Robert Eugene Milton. He is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years, Susan Milton; daughters Stefanie Woodard (Brandon) and Jordan Milton (Robert); and grandchildren Chloe, Ethan, Bella, Skylar, BJ, Olivia, Sophia, and Adrian. He also leaves behind his brother Charles Alan Milton (Karen); sister Amanda Milton Coggins (Jonathan); and brothers-in-law Mike Rabren and William Rabren. Geoffrey was cherished by many cousins, nieces, nephews and other extended family members as well as his many friends —each of whom he loved deeply and who loved him in return.

Professionally, Geoffrey served as a phlebotomist and medical assistant, where his gentle nature and genuine care for people made a lasting impact on everyone he met. Outside of work, he found joy in photography, capturing the beauty of nature and the ever-changing moods of the weather. He had a special appreciation for scenic landscapes and the quiet poetry they offered, however, he most enjoyed capturing photo memories of his many loved ones. Geoffrey also loved movies, often finding comfort and inspiration in storytelling.

In the more recent years, he found great joy in time spent as Pop to his grandchildren whom he adored. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew him—as a man who gave generously, loved deeply, and saw beauty in the world around him.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
