Gerald "Gerry" Michael Chaney

Gerald Michael Chaney, a resident of Gulf Shores, Alabama, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2025.

Gerry was born December 3, 1946, to James Edward Chaney and Tommie Lou Sweeney. He graduated from Murphy High School, received a BS from the University of South Alabama, and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin.

Gerry is survived by his wife Ginny Teel of 56 years; sons, Gerry Jr. of Palm Beach, Florida, and Joseph of Hong Kong, China; sister, Debbie Evans of Gulf Shores, Alabama; brother, Mel Chaney of Middletown, Connecticut; grandchildren, Gigi, Ginny, and Hunt.

In keeping with his wishes Gerry was cremated, and the family will scatter his ashes at a later date.
