Howard Wade Knapp, a resident of Tallahassee, FL, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2023, at the age of 66.

Wade retired from the Tallahassee Democrat.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Hanson Knapp. His survivors include his sister, Jennifer Knapp Pappas; brothers, Melvin Knapp and Terry Scott (Lisa) Knapp, all of Fairhope; niece, Andrea Jernigan (Bobby); nephews, Christopher (Amber) Pappas and Dylan Knapp; five great nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held Monday, May 15, 2023, at 11:00am at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
