Herbert "Herb" Charles Lamb

Herbert “Herb” Charles Lamb, 80, a resident of Foley, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2025.

Herb was born in Detroit, MI. on October 7, 1944 to parents Charles and Genieveve Lamb. He was a lifelong resident of Troy, MI, where he retired from Ford Motor Company in 2015 after working there for 40 years. He later moved to Foley AL., following his retirement in 2015, to be near his family. He proudly served his country as a United States Army Veteran and was honorably discharged after serving overseas in the Vietnam War. Herb was a loving husband, father, and friend, who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Preceding him in death was his son, Joey Lamb.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sandy Lamb of Foley, AL; nieces, Diane Mikkelson (Wayne) of Mobile, AL, and Candy Flanigan of Foley, AL; and dear friend, Carol Rapelje of Foley, AL; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Services will be held at a later date.
