Ivan Mauricio Lopez, age 50, a resident of Foley, passed away Monday, August 22, 2022.
He was a dedicated law enforcement officer for 20 years.
He is survived by his wife, Robin Lopez, Foley, AL; mother, Maria Manzano, Colombia; daughters, Isabella Lopez, Daphne, AL and Natalia Lopez, Daphne, AL; stepdaughter, Taylor (Matthew) Fortner, Silverhill, AL; sister, Monica Lopez, Miami, FL; brothers, Giovanni Lopez, Cooper City, FL and Larry Blum, Cali, Colombia; nieces, nephews and many other loving relatives and friends.
He was a humanitarian, had a passion for animals, loving husband, great father who lived for his daughters, avid Auburn fan and a jack of all trades kind of guy.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 12:00 PM, Saturday, August 27, 2022 at St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church, Foley. The family will receive friends at the church, two hours prior to the Mass.
