- Jacob L. Foster, Jr.
- Went to be with the Lord on December 10th, 2025, at the age of 85
- Jacob L. Foster, Jr., a devoted husband, father, Pawpaw, and friend, passed away surrounded by the
- family he loved so deeply.
- A man of unwavering faith, boundless generosity, and quiet strength, Jacob
- touched every life he encountered with kindness and purpose.
- Jacob graduated from Carlowville High School, and on October 5th, 1962, he married the love of his
- life, Becky Foster. Together, Jacob and Becky shared a lifetime of adventure, laughter, and hard work.
- One of their greatest joys as a couple was flipping houses—they loved the challenge, the creativity, and
- the fresh start each home brought. Over the years, they moved almost every three years, each new
- home becoming another chapter in their beautiful life together.
- Jacob found joy in the outdoors—hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time in God’s creation. A
- skilled woodworker, he could turn a simple piece of wood into something beautiful, just as he shaped
- the lives of those around him with patience, encouragement, and love. He was a proud member of the
- Bass Masters Club and served as President of the Only The Best Club GM, roles he carried out with
- integrity and dedication.
- Above all, Jacob adored his family. He was a loving husband to Becky Foster, and a proud father to his
- daughter, Jennifer Foster Collins. Being “Pawpaw” was one of the greatest joys of his life. He cherished
- his grandchildren—Jacob Collins (Krista) and Charles Collins—and he held his great-grandchildren,
- Roseanna, Gracelynn, Whitley, and Bodie, close to his heart. He would do anything for them, and his
- devotion was felt in countless ways.
- He was a member of Stapleton Baptist Church. His deep love for the Lord shone through in everything he did. Every morning at 3:30 a.m., without fail,
- he sent a “Bible Verse of the Day” to his closest family—a small but powerful reminder of his faith and
- the love he carried for those around him.Jacob’s legacy is one of love, faith, and service. He will be remembered for the way he
- lived—wholeheartedly, humbly, and always for others. Though he will be deeply missed, the example
- he set will continue to shine brightly through all who had the blessing of knowing him.
- Funeral services will be held Monday, December 15th, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Jubilee Memorial Gardens
- for a graveside service.
