James Marvin Rorex, a resident of Silverhill, AL, passed away on December 18th, 2024.
He was born on July 13th·, 1949. James fought in the Vietnam war from November 1968 through November 1969 in the 3/5 Calvary Unit on the DMZ.
James was a fun-loving father and grandfather. He had a love for cooking, horses, and our dogs.
He is survived by his son Derrick (Lee) Rorex, Daughters Katina Rorex and Kendrick Rorex. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Kennedy, Asa, Jack, Stella, Shelby, Emma, Cody and Jonalyn.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 4th, 2025, at the Alabama Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Spanish Fort Highway 225, at 10:00am
