His love for the sport of fly fishing along with his crafty soul, found himself tying flies at the West Laramie Fly Store each week. He enjoyed interacting with the locals and providing tips for the trade. Before moving to Alabama, Jim was an active member of the First Christian Church in Laramie where he enjoyed bible studies with his buddies.
Jim was preceded in death by his father, Maxie Leonidas Ross, mother, Mary Leone Jones, brother, John Ray Ross, and daughter, Johannah Hope DeBerard.
