Jerry passed away at his home in Daphne, AL, on August 7, 2026, at the age of 76.  He was born in McComb, MS.

Jerry was a decorated military veteran.  He was preceded in death by his father, Dan Allen of McComb, MS, and his mother, Bobbi (Crawford) Allen of McComb, MS.

He is survived by his wife, Marguerite Allen of Daphne, AL; his four daughters, Lesia Smolinski (husband John), of Daphne, AL, Theresa Torrance (husband Dean) of Granville, IL, Jill Sigman (husband John) of Germantown Hills, IL and Jennifer Wilson (husband Matt) of Las Vegas, NV; his three grandchildren, Willis Wilson (wife Marissa) of Fort Campbell, KY, Alexandria Sigman of Elkton, VA and Madelyn Torrance of Granville, IL; his brother Jim Allen (wife Mary) of Folsom, LA; his aunt, Ollie Joyce Comeaux of Bogue Chitto, MS; his uncle, Matthew Jim Allen of Nashville, TN; and his nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.  

Jerry was devoted to his wife, daughters, and grandchildren.  His love for all of them came before anything else.  His grandchildren were his pride and joy.  Jerry never met a stranger, and his door was always open.  

Funeral services will be held at the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes in Daphne, AL, on Friday, August 14, 2026, at 3:00pm.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 until the service time.

Interment will follow in Jubilee Memorial Gardens.
