Jesse Calvin Byrd

Jesse Calvin Byrd, a resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2025, at the age of 86. He was born in Winfield, AL to the late Fred and Ormal Lee Byrd.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran, coached youth base ball and football and was an avid fisherman.

Jesse is survived by his wife of 64 years, Martha Byrd of Fairhope; daughters, Melissa (Allen) Montgomery of Spring, TX, Kaci Daniell Byrd of Fairhope, and Deborah Lynn (David) Benton of Willis, TX; sons, Mark Dwayne Byrd, David Wayne Byrd and Cody Wayne Byrd, all of Fairhope; twelve grandchildren and great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

A celebration of Jesse’s life will be held at a later date.
