Jimmy Franklin Johnson, age 78, a resident of Foley, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2022. He was a US Army Veteran and employed by US Steel in Birmingham for 30 years. He was a Lay minister and member of Genesis Church, Gulf Shores, AL. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Elaine Johnson, Foley, AL; daughters, Audra (Ricky) DeBlieux, Orange Beach, AL, and Ginger (Christopher) Brackin, Gulf Shores, AL; son, Jeremy (Bobbie) Johnson, Foley, AL; sisters, Jan (Danny) DeBlieux, Bastrop, LA, and Judy (Bill) Carmichael, Memphis, TN; brother, Jerry (Yolanda) Johnson, Orange Beach, AL; grandson, Colton (Shelby) DeBlieux; great-grandson, James O’Neal DeBlieux; many other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home Chapel, Foley. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
