Mrs. Kimbrough Stephens Ferrell of Fairhope, Alabama and West Helena, Arkansas, died Saturday, June 13 and went home to be with her Heavenly Father.
Kimbrough was born April 5th, 1953, on an Easter Sunday to Harry and Elizabeth Ann Stephens. She is survived by her husband of 40 years Rev. Timothy W Ferrell, her sisters Martha Watson and Elizabeth Ann “Sissy” Wheeler and husband Al, her brother, Harry G Stephens III known as “Brother” and his wife Jeanie, and her brother-in-law Stan Ferrell and his wife Leida Javier-Ferrell and a host of her wonderful nephews and nieces whom she loved very much.
Kimbrough was a graduate of the Hutchinson School in Memphis, Tennessee, received her bachelor's degree from William Woods College in Fulton Missouri and earned her MBA from the University of South Alabama. She was a member of the faculty at Springhill College before she joined the faculty of Faulkner State Community College where she taught Business and Accounting and was the coordinator for the school's “Scholars Bowl” program.
Kimbrough shared joy and comfort to all who knew her, inspiring love for Jesus everywhere she went. She took great joy in demonstrating and sharing with others, especially with her family, the love of Christ that she so intimately knew herself.
A memorial service for Kimbrough will be held at St. Francis at the Pointe Anglican Church on Thursday, June 18th. at 11am. Burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery in Helena, Arkansas on Saturday June 20th at 11am.
