John William Bowe passed away peacefully on his 80th birthday. He was born on October 14, 1946, in Elizabeth, New Jersey to Robert H. and Grace M. Bowe. He graduated from The University of Alabama and spent his career as an accomplished accountant, auditor, controller and executive vice-president. John spent two years in the U.S. Army as a 1st Lieutenant. He spent his last retirement years in Orange Beach, AL with his devoted companion, Georgia Wade. John had many friends and interests and will be dearly missed.
John is survived by his sister Nancy Bowe, brother Robert Bowe (Barbara), nephew Christopher Putt (Edie) and their son Andrew.
No services are planned. John will be privately interred at the Alabama State Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Spanish Fort.
