John David Bethea

John David Bethea, Jr., age 42, a resident of Seminole, AL, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2022.

David was a loving husband and father, an amazing brother, and the perfect son. He was a very talented drummer and musician. His musical talents were God-given. David was a member of Church at Central, where he played the drums in the worship team. He had a servant’s heart and loved the Lord. As a hobby he loved to tinker around on cars and lawnmowers and ride motorcycles. David was highly respected by his community and friends for his selflessness, generosity, and loving and gentle heart.

He is survived by his wife, Christina Bethea, Seminole, AL; son, Jonathan Daniel Bethea; mother, Rebecca (Randall) Hodgekiss, Orange Beach, AL; father, John Bethea, Wilmer, AL; grandmother, Katherine Bethea, Spanish Fort, AL; sister, Sarah Evans, Orange Beach, AL; brother, Zachary (Alexandra) Evans, Pensacola, FL; step-sister, Toscha Haas; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, grand niece, cousins and many other loving relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at The Island Church on Wednesday, December 28th at 10:00 AM. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
