Joyce Roy James

Joyce James, a longtime resident of Foley, Alabama, passed peacefully on April 28, 2024.

 She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Clifford E James; her father, Russell B Roy; stepfather, George B Germany; mother, Verna Ann Germany; sister, Patricia Ann Lyman; and granddaughter, Stephanie Fluet.

Joyce is survived by her sons, Steve James, Michael James (Suzie), and George James (Gay), all of Foley; granddaughter, Jo-Anne Fletcher (Timothy) of MA; grandsons, Jerry James (Melissa) of HI, Chris James, and Ben Pearce both of AL; great-grandchildren, Taylor Fletcher of MD, Kaitlyn and Grace James of MA, Braydon James of HI, Nicole and Alexander Flute of MA, Harper James, Ellana Pearce, and Nora James, all of AL; along with many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 10, 2024, at 5:00 pm, followed by a Celebration of Life, both at the Foley Chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes.
