Judith "Judy" Merchant

On January 31, 2023, Judith “Judy” Ann Merchant, passed away at the age of 83 in her home in Elberta, Alabama. She was a loving wife, caring mother, wonderful grandmother, and great grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Donald Wayne Merchant; her three daughters, Ruby Merchant Lee (Tommy), Phyllis Katrina Merchant, and Lisa Jane Evans (Robert); eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Patricia Ward, Sandra Williams, and Joan Kressler. Judy loved caring for her family and never let anyone leave her home without making sure they were fed and had a drink. She enjoyed working on her flower beds and helping her husband in the garden. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at 11:00 am from the Chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Foley, Alabama. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
