Julia M. Stabler

Mrs. Julia (Judy) M. Stabler, age 84, Fairhope, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2026, peacefully at her home with her children by her side.

She was born August 30, 1941, in Monroe County, Alabama, and lived in Fairhope for the last 54 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, George Thomas Stabler, her son, Matt Stabler, parents, Joseph and Merly McMillan, brother, Sonny McMillan and sisters, Betty Jo Harris and Pauline Kennedy.

Mrs. Stabler is survived by her son, Stan Stabler (Marcia) of Daphne; daughter, Roxanne White (David) of Fairhope; grandchildren, Lee Day (Brianna), Shannon Bane (Patrick) and Joey Stabler (Paige), all of Daphne, Tommy Stabler (Kirsten) of Huntsville and Christopher White of Navarre, FL; ten great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other extended relatives.

She was a long-time day-care provider, known as Ms. Judy by many.

A celebration of Mrs. Stabler’s life will be held in the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Daphne, Tuesday March 17, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the Alabama State Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Spanish Fort.

Due to the cemetery restrictions, in lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Barnwell Baptist Church, 7780 US-98, Fairhope, Alabama.
