SPANISH FORT, AL. COVINGTON Mrs. Katherine M. Covington, Age 69 a native of Louisiana and a resident of Spanish Fort, AL passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2023 at her residence. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry D. Covington, parents, Charlie and Helen Shirah, and a grandson, Dev'n. Survivors include one daughter, Samantha Jones of Bay Minette; one son, Tommy Childree of Spanish Fort, AL; two brothers, Wayne Shirah of Spanish Fort, AL and Joe ( Charlotte) Shirah of Mobile, AL; other loving relatives and friends. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at 11:00am at Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Spanish Fort, AL.
