Katheryn “Katy” Adams Graham, born August 28, 1942, in Mobile, Alabama, departed this world peacefully on June 23, 2026, in Fairhope, Alabama, surrounded by the enduring love of her family. Katy’s journey was one marked by warmth and grace, the kind that lives on in the memories of those she’s touched.
Katy was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother whose presence brought joy and comfort to all who knew her. Throughout her life, Katy nurtured deep connections with family and friends, carrying in her heart a capacity for compassion that left an indelible mark. Katy’s chosen career as a nurse was a perfect choice. Her gift of compassion and caring was evident by all of her colleagues and patients.
Katy leaves behind her devoted husband of 64 years, Bruce Graham, Sr., a steadfast partner with whom she shared a lifetime of laughter and unwavering love. Together they built a family that became the center of Katy’s world. She is also survived by her three cherished sons: Bruce Graham Jr. (Michelle ), Drew Graham (Devin), and Dwight Graham (Deanna) along with nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. For Katy, motherhood was not just a role but a calling—her sons remember her as their cheerleader and gentle guide, always present with a listening ear and encouraging word.
Though she felt the weight of loss with the passing of her grandsons Austin and Zachary Graham, Katy’s love for her family never dimmed. She held their memories close and guided her family through grief with resilience and tenderness.
The legacy Katy leaves is woven from small kindnesses: the warm meals lovingly prepared, the laughter echoing at family gatherings, and the enduring advice she shared quietly but powerfully. Her ability to bring people together in times of celebration and sorrow alike made her a cornerstone for her family. Those who knew Katy will carry forward her commitment to caring for others, her generosity, and her unwavering devotion.
A gathering to honor the life of Katheryn "Katy" Adams Graham will be held to celebrate her memory and the tremendous love she gave to those around her on Wednesday, July 1 at 11:00 am at Fairhope United Methodist Church. 155 S. Section St. in Fairhope, AL.
