Kenneth Heyward Elmore, age 72, a resident of Magnolia Springs, AL, passed away on May 27, 2024.
Preceding him in death are his son, Quinten Casey Elmore; parents, Heyward and Virginia Elmore; and sister, Darlene Boykin.
Kenneth is survived by his wife of 28 years, Stephonia Elmore; sons, Kenneth Shane (Samantha) Elmore of Gilbertown, AL; and Christopher Chad (Angela) Elmore of Lisman, AL; daughter, Courtney (Drew) King of Fairhope, AL; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Brenda Elmore (Norman) Marable of Columbia, TN, and Vernelle Elmore (Edward) Murtagh of Wheaton, MD; mother-in-law, Barbara McCoy Sherman of Magnolia Springs, AL; and many other loving relatives and friends.
Pallbearers are Norman Marable, Wesley Mosley, Brian McMahan, Clayton “Tater” Sherman, Donnie Younce, and Drew King. Honorary pallbearers are Christopher Elmore, Harold Sherman, Joshua Murtagh, and Clint Marable.
Funeral services will be held at Vernant Park Baptist Church on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at 12:00 pm. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am – noon.
Interment will follow in Vernant Park Baptist Church Cemetery.
